Welcome to Second Grade!

Dear Parents,

Welcome to second grade at Richfield Elementary for the 2018-2019 school year. I hope you had a relaxing and restful summer break. My name is Rachel Alaimo and I am your child’s second grade intervention specialist. This is my fourth year at s the second grade intervention specialist. I taught reading intervention at Lakewood City Schools for 2 years and Rocky River City Schools for 1 year prior to coming to Revere. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year in second grade.

Our room is the first room on the left in the second grade hallway, Room 300. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Students last day in Mrs. Alaimo's room will be Friday, May 25th.

• Students will be bringing home summer practice packets, if completed they can earn gift cards off the gift cards tree the first week of third grade.
• Leadership notebooks will also be coming home. These notebooks have our trimester reading goals, our graphs from daily repeated reading and many other work samples.
• We will also be creating a fun project with beads Wednesday through Friday.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and your child this year! I wish them nothing but the best in third grade! Enjoy a well deserved summer break!
