Math Curriculum
· Richfield Elementary has been utilizing the math program Envision by Pearson for the last 3 years, this year will be the fourth. This program allows for direct instruction as well as review of concepts at home and school.
· Modifications will occur on each assessment based on each student’s individual needs and IEP accommodations and modifications.
· Please help your child practice his or her math facts. We will start with reviewing one-digit addition and subtraction and we will progress through two-digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping and borrowing by the end of the year. Students will practice their math facts each day at school too.
· Students will complete a daily review of basic math skills such as counting by 1-120 by 1’s, 5’s 10’s, time and money. We will also use Touch Math to support our numerical knowledge.
